Physical Activity Infographic: Are you doing enough?

Following on from the end of my previous post where I discussed the advocacy of exercise, England’s Chief Medical Officer Professor Dame Sally Davies has released a new infographic based on 2011 guidelines for the types and volumes of physical activity adults need to engage in for good health. This physical activity infographic is really useful if you aren’t sure what types of activity you’ll benefit from doing yourself, and it’s also great for sharing with friends, family, and coworkers. Let’s get it out to everyone!

What kind of physical activity are you currently engaging in? How has your exercise routine changed, if at all, over the years. How do you keep it fun? Do you have any tips on how to work physical activity and exercise into a busy life? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I have certainly felt guilt-tripped into never going in the lift in the Allerton building after the Principles of Exercise Therapy (PET) sessions! We do alot of stairs – like up to 40 flights a day going between sessions!
